Regrets
My profound thought of the day:
"If I had known that I'd go through all of this, I never would have gotten involved."
*Sigh.*

Yet you must ask yourself the question: "If you never get involved in anything for fear that it might not go as you anticipated, could you really call that living?" We often look back on things and see the purely negative aspects of our experiences because those feelings are the closest to the surface. But, in reality, even the bad experiences in our lives have brought us some good... a lesson learned, a memory or event that we hold dear, or friendships that we wouldn't have acquired any other way. In short, keep your chin up... whatever it is that is troubling you will bring you to a new and better place. :)
Neil, you're right. I'm just impatient to get to that new and better place.
Sarah - Nope, not Nanowrimo. But, I'm about 7K down, so I'd better write tonight instead of vegging in front of the tele as is my Sunday evening custom!
Embrace suffering. It is not only the things you learn but the person that you become - and earning it- that make it worth at least as much as a life of ease. love, your lil sis

Believe me, I know what you mean. I'll only say this: it's not about what you've gone through in life - it's about who you've become.
